Dropping The Solid Day - February 2002

On Tuesday February 12th Cornershop's 'Dropping The Solid' - the worlds longest mix - made history and relaunched the official Cornershop web site.

Featuring Noel Gallagher, the track 'Spectral Mornings' taken from the forthcoming Cornershop album 'Handcream for a Generation' was expanded from its original 14 minute length to a mind blowing 24 hrs by Cornershop themselves.

The mix constantly mutated and changed, pointing to the spectral evenings, nights, mornings and afternoons the band went through to deliver this epic of epics.

This mix was streamed, exclusively live, from the "Dropping The Solid" section of this website in streaming mp3 format.
